This group started as an informal coalition of professionals from health and human services professions in 2013. Originally meant as a networking program, two years later they installed their first Board of Directors and became a nonprofit organization.

The initiative recognizes the importance of addressing the needs of individuals and families facing economic challenges, health disparities, and other hardships. Through strategic partnerships with local nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses, Flagler Cares fosters the “No Wrong Door” approach.
