Registration is now open for what is consistently one of the most exciting sporting events of the year, the 2024 Palm Coast & the Flagler Beaches Senior Games, presented in partnership with AdventHealth. The event, which begins on September 13, is open to participants ages 50 and up. This year, the city will welcome back mainstay events, golf, pickleball, tennis, and the Pink on Parade 5K, while adding a slate of new events, including bag toss (cornhole), horseshoes, and basketball shooting, which will consist of free throws and timed spot shooting.

“We are extremely excited about the Senior Games this year, especially with a number of new events, and the inclusion of our brand-new Southern Recreation Center as one of the host venues,” said City of Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Director James Hirst. “These games really are a celebration of our senior community, and we are proud to have them as a city tradition that continues to grow each year.”
Another special addition to this year’s festivities will see the Palm Coast Historical Society on hand at all events to help celebrate and discuss the city’s upcoming 25th anniversary later this year.
“The growth of the Senior Games over the years is a testament to the competitive spirit of our senior community and reflects the importance of staying active,” said Palm Coast Mayor David Alfin. “We are fortunate to live in a city that offers an abundance of recreational opportunities to all of our residents, and these games are just one of the ways we encourage our seniors to get involved, get active, and really take part in all of the wonderful amenities that we are fortunate to have here in our city.”
