In preparation for Tropical Storm Helene, the City of Palm Coast will have sand and sandbags available for residents at the Indian Trails Sports Complex, 5455 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32137, beginning on Wednesday, September 25, until supplies last or the weather deteriorates. Palm Coast sandbag stations are self-serve, and residents should bring a shovel and be prepared to fill the bags. There is a limit of ten bags per vehicle.
In addition to the City’s sandbag location, sand and sandbags are available for purchase at all hardware stores in Flagler County, including Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and Hammock Hardware.
At this time, the City of Palm Coast does not plan to close any city facilities or cancel any services, including garbage and recycling collection, as a result of this storm.
