In an effort to ensure the safety of students and minimize disruptions to school activities, the City of Palm Coast has scheduled nighttime paving operations in front of Rymfire Elementary School. The work will take place at night to avoid interfering with busy school pickup and drop-off times.
Paving crews will begin operations this Sunday night, focusing first on Rymfire Drive. The contractor plans to complete work on Rymfire Drive over two nights—Sunday and Monday—before shifting to Royal Palms Parkway for the remainder of the week. Paving is expected to wrap up by Thursday night, barring any unforeseen delays.
Crews will be working nightly from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring they are off the roads before school begins each morning. This schedule is designed to keep traffic flowing smoothly during school hours while making necessary improvements to the roadways.
Please note, due to time constraints, no work will be conducted on Friday or Saturday nights to ensure the project is completed on time before the following Monday.
