Starting Monday, September 16, 2024, Cline Construction, under contract with the City of Palm Coast, will begin an emergency repair on the wastewater system at and around 3 Fernwood Lane. The repair is necessary due to a break in the wastewater connection between a resident’s sewer service and the city main caused by age-related deterioration.
While the project is not expected to cause more than a single-lane closure, residents should be aware that this work could take more than a week to complete. The repair is complex, requiring excavation to approximately 15 feet and dewatering to ensure proper access and safety.
We ask for the public’s patience and cooperation during this time. Crews will work diligently to minimize disruptions while completing this vital repair. Please drive cautiously around the work zone for the safety of both workers and residents.
