The Krewe of the 13 is a local charity that endeavors to help local families. They organize charity events, participate in fundraising, and gather sponsors, all in the name of supporting those families. They offer their support to families based in Duval, Flagler, and St. Johns Counties.
Their goal is to provide as much help to local families as they need, especially when they are struggling to keep up with the needs of everyday life. If you are a local family in need, you can appeal to them on their websiteÑwww.kreweofthe13.org by filling out their application form. They thoroughly review every application and inspect your needs, the approach they should take, and how much help their services will be to your family.
They are very flexible in how they help, depending on the needs of a family. Sometimes they throw charity bashes, and other times they pay for education for a family member.
This month they have several charity events planned for the community. They have a Pirates of the Caribbean Monopoly Fundraiser scheduled on October 1st, where participants try to find Pirate properties before the time runs out. This fundraiser starts at 5:00 PM and will be at the Social Club of Palm Coast.
On October 3rd, they will host the Third Annual Night of Halloween Revelry, a Halloween-themed Pub Crawl, and fundraiser, starting at 6:00 PM. They will also participate in the Murray Halloween Parade on October 22nd at 7:00 PM in Jacksonville.
They end their October festivities on the 29th at 6:00 pm with the Second Annual All Hallow’s Eve Charity Bash, a party for adults aged 21 or older. They will host music, dancing, a silent auction, a raffle, and a contest for the best costume at the party. Visit their website to learn more about where to purchase tickets.
